Ruby's Jokes

A woman gave her gardener explicit directions on preparing a new bed, and emphasized that he must double-dig it.

Unbeknownst to the gardener, she kept an eye on him as he worked, and was incensed to see him begin to plant in the bed when he had turned the soil only once. She rushed out and questioned him, and he insisted that he had followed her directions to the letter.

"You made that bed," the outraged employer shouted at him, "and now you're lying in it!"
